You can now save a lot of time conducting research. Scinapse.io is not simply an academic search engine. It extracts information from individual papers and transforms it into machine-readable data.

You can now identify links between existing data that was previously difficult to find and derive insights from relevant information quickly.

Create an analytical target using “Research Explorer”. Add the research field you are interested in and set your year preferences. In this case “Tumor microenvironment” from 2010 and beyond [> 2010].

Once you have created your analytical target you can information about the papers in this field listed by citation count. You can also click on [Analyze] in the top right corner to see all the analytical targets related to the given field. This includes trends, authors, affiliations, papers, & countries.

Scinapse.io offers publication trends and field trends in easy-to-understand graphs. Publications per year provide a quantitative measure of their research output over time, helping to gauge their influence within the academic community. Field trends provide information on the direction of research within a particular field. Easily understand a researcher’s research interests based on their entire research career and recent publications. Identify emerging areas of research and understand the overall direction of a field or sub-fields. Field trends can also be edited based on your personal preferences.

This analytical target provides top authors in the given field based on their contributions to the given field. It gives information on their h-index, publications & citations (based on the filtered set), as well as their total citations, h-index, and total publications. This information can also be filtered to analyze only recent publications from the last 3, 5, or 7 years. As a bonus, the list can also be exported for convenience.

This information can be used to identify influential researchers and potential collaborators. Filters to analyze top authors in recent years can be used to identify rising stars.

Similarly to the author set, you can see the top affiliations in the field based on their contributions to the given field. The affiliations are ranked by their h-index (based on the filtered set). The information listed also includes total publications & citations. This information can also be filtered to analyze only recent publications from the last 3, 5, or 7 years. This list can also be exported.

You can easily identify influential research groups and potential collaborators. Filters to analyze top affiliations in recent years can be used to identify leaders in the research field.

This analytical target shows the top papers within the filtered set, based on citation count. There is information on the venue, the date the literature was published, lead authors as well as the sub-fields the paper covers. Find influential papers and understand the overall direction and trends of research within a field and its sub-fields without wasting time.

This analytical target ranks countries with the highest number of published papers in the given field. You can also view the papers from a specific country only. Change the results by seeing publications from the past 7, 5, or 3 years to see the leading countries in recent years.
